In previous posts I have explained the principles of The Fruit Experiment and the reason why I started this initiative in the first place. Now I would like to introduce to you the fruits that were picked by the selected ‘models’.
HUGO – KIWI
Hugo chose the kiwi as inspiration for The Fruit Experiment. With the hairy skin and the juicy inside a very typical kind of fruit.
SYLVIA – BLACKBERRY
Together with the raspberry, the blackberry is one of Sylvia’s most favourite pieces of fruit.
SUZANNE – MELON
The favourite of Suzanne is melon, although it was a though choice between melon, cherries and kiwi. Melon comes in all sizes and shapes, so what direction the designs will take is still a mystery.
TOM – BLUEBERRY
Not a single doubt when Tom had to choose his favourite fruit, blue berry it is! The second berry in line, but with a total different character as Sylvia’s blackberry.
JOERI – LYCHEE
Joeri has a long history with the lychee, and this tropical fruit is the most special one of the six. I am curious what this will bring to the experiment.
SOPHIE – PINEAPPLE
Just like Tom, Sophie had no doubts in choosing the right fruit: pine apple! Compared to all other fruits, I guess this is the one eaten most from a can…But fresh is so much better.
I am delighted with the choice of the ‘models’ and can’t wait starting with their designs and sharing the ideas with them.
